AdvancedDownload theme (.p3t) to USB storage
- Plug a USB flash drive into your PC
- On the USB device, create a folder called PS3
- Inside that PS3 folder create a new folder called THEME
- Find a theme you want to download. Here’s the “Sample” theme (sample.p3t, 2.3MB) that comes with Sony’s P3T Compiler tool
- Save the theme into the THEME folder on your USB device
Install theme on your PS3
- Plug the USB device into your PS3
- Go to the Settings XMB menu and choose Theme settings

- Choose Theme
- Choose the Install option
- Select the storage media (the USB device you plugged in)
- You should now be shown a list of themes found on USB device. Choose the theme you want to install. Repeat the steps for multiple themes. If you get the message “There are no themes”, check that the theme is located in the correct folder on the device (see steps above)
- The theme should now be available in the Theme options. Choose the theme’s Apply option
- After a short pause the theme will be applied to the XMB! Sample theme:, Pixels theme:

my theme settings option doesnt have all of them categorys it only says wallpaper then use/do not use can someone please help me.
SD171: What version is your System Software? You probably have to upgrade (read our guide).

my themes do not work i put them on to a pen drive . when i go to themes install i click on the pen drive it says themes can not be displayed
numaan: So the theme can be found when you go to copy it? If not you need to ensure that the folder structure is correct. Or are they themes you’ve made yourself?
hi can u copy games of ps3 from disc to ps3 harddrive?
umer: You can’t, no. Some games can install files to the hard-drive but then still require the disc be used.
can somebody plz me i need to know can theme’s be installed to a 80GB PS3.
if yes how plz because i pretty much tried everything i made the PS3 folder inside that folder is the THEME folder and it still wont find any theme of any sorts am i doing something wrong??

it says that there r no themes on my usb what do i do
i tried Anything and i won’t work always says: “There are no themes”. my ps3 is verzion 2.22 and it haves 60 GB of memory.
on what did you put your themes?(cellphone…)?
I use a general USB flash drive/thumb stick. You have to remember to have the correct folder structure (/PS3/THEME/xxxx.p3t) or the PS3 can’t find the theme.
no matter what I do. The system doesnt recognize the themes. Checked everything, followed the sample, followed the instructions. Nothing??????
i have the same problem the themes are on my portable hard drive yet the ps3 says the is none. i cant figure it out.

everyone go on your USB drive make a folder called PS3 then go inside that folder and make a folder called THEME nothing different cos then it wont pick up inside the folder called THEME put your theme/themes safely Remove your USB plug it in your ps3 go to Settings then theme settings then theme then go up to intall go in to your USB and install all your theme!! yay u did it its pretty easy!!
