if you really want to make a random new email address and change the email over to that and then make a new psn acount using your old email address, it is really stupid the way they have got it set up

You won’t be able to delete it and free up the email address. Why don’t you just sign into the same PSN account onto your PS3?

I made a PSN account when I got my PS3 last year but I want to delete it (make another one) because the name is quite stupid. I’ve got a few trophies but I don’t mind losing them and I haven’t purchased anything or entered any billing info so potentially, can I just abandon the account, remove it from my console and make another one?????
