i received a ps3 as swap for my faulty one(only hdmi connection faulty) & Sony replaced it with 1 that has lasted no longer than 2months & is overheating after half an hour & when i rang them to give them the serial number i noticed there wasn’t one there at all & now i have a faulty ps3 which i have no proof of them giving me one which they will not replace even though it is the ORIGINAL one that they sent me…aaarrgghhh, do i have any rights i have been kicking off big style with them

when i was playing sfxtk my ps3 froze so i turned it off by the button and it would not turn off so i turned it of by the plug and when i turned it back on it said my data was coruputed and i had to start again and i updated it and still wont work. can anyone help me out

I was playing a movie on my Ps3 and all of a sudden my screen went black,and i was back at user log in.Well i logged into my master account and i can not sign into internet it says sign up like before you even create any online ID’s,so i tried creating a new user and signing in under my master accounts online ID and it say’s you can not use this online ID.I did the same thing with my other accounts and i can still sign in.What could cause this?Please help

ye hi i was flickin throw the whats new thing on the playstation and i saw a finaly fansty 3 game i love ff game so got it and wait for it to download and install but when it was done it turns out that its a PSP game and i cant play it knowing how stupit it i was to have got it with reading about it first is there any way of getting some kind of refund i dont want my money back r anything but is there a way of getting store credit for the game that i pay 14.99 for

    i fixed mine by DISCONNECTING the power and all leads,(The output leads carry a small amount of stand by power back to the ps3 from your tv,home theatre,& especially a powered USB multiport adapter)then GENTLY removing & cleaning the hard drive & it’s bay,which is behind the little removable cover,below the disc input window,clean any dust,etc out,then put the hard drive back gently!!!! clean all the little vents that get blocked up too,on the bottom,but don’t use compressed air!!!!!!!! If all is good it will fire up,and no you won’t lose any data on the hard drive,unless you short it out by not disconnecting all leads and power sources. The HDD comes out,goes back in easily so don’t force it!!!!!! Good Luck

Hello.One year ago my playstation network account got hacked and i still couldn’t solve the problem.
I’ve been trying to contact any help but i couldn’t find it untill now.

I eventually created another account with the ID noobly_69.
I would like to be informed about how can we solve this problem, because i had a lot of games on the lost account that i would like to recover.

  Well since this is not a Sony site we can’t help. Your best bet is to phone them – they have a series of questions to prove you own the account.

THE PS3 12 GB CON! If you want to play battlefield 3 dp not buy the 2013 ps3 12gb as you will not be able to due to the small size, i found out the hard way!

    But consider that numerous disk games require some installation to the hard-drive. For example, I just bought Ni No Kuni which installed almost 4GB.
