  i have had this very problem and still cant get online but you can get intouch with sony playstation support and spend 45 minute’s sorting it as i did 3 weeks ago they reopened my account 4me with a new password and email add but the 45 min call cost me £68.85 and m still unable to get online

i am exstreamly pissed at PlayStation, i have spent nearly £500 on consul and games since ps3 came out, i have had nothing but hassle trying to get through to PlayStation network support only to find that the no’s on PlayStation page cost £1.53 a minute last call lasted 45 minute’s this is unacceptable especially as 3weeks on and im still unable to get online to play the game’s they charged me £40 each to buy so they have 2 charge approx £68.85 for a phone call to try and sort the problem this will be the second call i have had to make meaning if it take’s me 45 minutes again then that means it would have cost me approx £137 is this acceptable ? or is this Sony PlayStation network laughing all the way to the bank whilst taking advantage of the people who buy their products.

I have just purchased the Simpson game for 7.99 for my son and we cannot see it anywhere under the games menu, anybody no why? We have purchsed games before via playstation network and not had this problem as all games have appeared under the games menu!

  after purchasing you have to select the download button, assuming you did that, find the product on PSN it should have a red shopping bag attached to it. this means you have purchased it. select it and download again. then look for the installation bubble under the games menu. Barring that check if you have enough hard disk space for the download.

We have just recieved resistance 3 and came home all excited ready to play then ………………………. we put disk in like any other game/bluray/disk and nothing came up under the games menu. I tried it on a friends ps3 and it worked fine. Came home thinking maybe it might work but NOPE. Anyone got any idea on why this would be happening and also got any advise on how to fix it. We have tried other games and movies and they are all fine it just seems to be this one game that our machine doesnt want to play….HELP. Thanks

  Do any other disks work? Sounds like the blu-ray laser might be broken. You might need to replace the PS3 or repair it.

I was playing a game, and when I ejected it it had a small but recognisable scratch on the inner part, an since then it hasn’t worked
When I put the disc in, it trys to read it, then attempts to eject it, but stops.

i have bought my 3rd play station 3 this time . not because i love it but because every time it goes blank i have to pay the labour which id=s worth half the price of the game and it still does not work so i garbage it .
and see now again i the new one that i baught is not showing any video i have tried pressing the button long enough , changed cables , T.v , nothing at all . it just does not work .

  I don’t know what you’re doing but you can definitely have the same PSN account on multiple PS3s. Make sure you are using “sign in with an existing account”.

I have purchased the new mw3 – collection 2 map packs on the PS3! all the maps have downloaded but 1 map (OASIS) jus doesent download “AN ERROR OCCURRED DURING THE DOWNLOAD OPERATION (80029563) i have tried downloading the maps threw the mw3 store and i get the same error. i cant play any games without that map it jus doesent let me in any lobbys!
