Create video clip previews

The default icon for video clips in XMB is boring. Learn how to create icons that show a preview of the video.

Steps

  1. Go to the “Video” menu and find the video clip you want to create a preview forScreenshot
  2. Start playing the video
  3. Press the Triangle controller button to show the playback options
  4. Select the “Change icon” optionScreenshot
  5. A 15 second preview will be created from the point in the video where you selected the option. Select “Yes” to continueScreenshot
  6. Wait for the icon to be created, then go Back to playbackScreenshot
  7. Exit video playback to return to the menu. The new preview will now be showing!Screenshot

    AAAAAAH thats how u do it! Its been driving me nuts for ages! Tried sticking in dvd covers with the video in a file changing the file to .avi or .jpeg and it wasnt having it! HA HA!!!!
