Countries supported by PSN

These are the countries available (officially supported) when signing up for Playstation Network (PSN). The country you choose determines various validation rules for steps in the PSN sign-up process–for example minimum age requirement or valid residental address.

Although it is against the terms and conditions to provide incorrect information, there are guides elsewhere online for signing up with a different country (e.g. creating a US account) to allow you to use the PSN.

Update: I’ve just checked the account registration through PS Store for PC and oddly the list of countries is shorter! If a country listed above has a star/asterisk then it is available when signing up via the online store.

    why is there no Philippines like ever? i bought a ps3 way back and it’s almost 2011 and there’s still no Philippines in the country list… how am i supposed to download games like resident evil if i can’t even add funds to my psn wallet.. is there news to this playstation management?? please add the philippines the country list!

    i live near dubai and there is no PSN here. i’ve heard that we can use PSN of europe or any where else even when we dont have PSN in the middle east and one of my friends really is doing this, can someone please tell me how to do this because i really need PSN for KILL ZONE 3, HELP !!!

      sign in by finding on google of some England street Addres along with pin code ..this is just asimple issue..dont worry about it..

    I used to live in Canada and bought my ps3 there.  Had a US account.  i moved to Africa and it seems though all of US is in the green, I still can’t sign in.  Thoughts?

    I live in Korea now but have an USA psn account does it make a difference in online game play speed by doing this i have 100 mbps upload download and have only 2 bars on madden where as most ppl have 3 green bars for the connection.

    What do you think? Is my account going to work if Im living in Hungary and using an UK account? Because Hungary doesn’t have an online store, in other word it has nothing sadly! I wish i could move back to London :) (just for the fun) And when this site maintance will be gone? I can’t change my password ! I can’t change it through my PS3 console though because it’s signs me off automatically after they send me an E-Mail!!! Please HELP ME!

    I live in UAE , but i got the ps3 from Bahrain(where im from)…& when i was there, i set it up in Bahrain, thinking it was possible to change it…
    Now i can’t change the country, Bahrain is NOT included in ps3 store, and UAE store is online while Bahrain is not!!!!
    I’m a big and loyal fan of Sony, but this bullshit of not allowing u to change ur country is getting on my nerves, the worst part is them not giving u a answer to why it is not avaliable in ur country, even though i asked in the forums, MANY of times….
    I’ve been using my dusty XBOX 360 again, and since this is the ” Sony Attitude” it looks like i’ll be staying with it!!

       Have fun enjoying your paid 35 countries supported as opposed to the free 56 countries supported PSN. Where’s the logic in the fact that a service you need to pay for is available in less places than a free one?

      Don’t get me wrong on this, I have both systems, use both of them equally and enjoy both of them equally, but you can’t change your country on Xbox Live either, and it supports less countries although it costs you money to be able to play online. Try giving a call to Microsoft and ask them why, you’ll get the same bullshit from them as you do from Sony. Everything you complain about Sony in your post is the EXACT same with Microsoft.

        Can you explain to me why my PSN account is still not up in Bahrain ? & all the Bahraini users have the same issue with this…Yes ALL, because almost everyone i know in Bahrain has a PS3 and all of them get the same goddamn page when trying to change their password! It says ” Site Under Maintenance ” …. & when will they address this problem & what about the money i have in my account ? I have real money in that account and I don’t even know if I’ll ever get the account again since it’s been a month n they haven’t said anything…
        So yeah, I’d rather PAY to PLAY…than not play AT ALL online…

      i agree with you, i made my account a “Qatar”account since i wanted to stay clean (if that makes sense), and now its not supported, this is bs. i dont like what happend and its a complete rip off because there shouldnt be exceptions, ive been waiting for months, even weeks and weeks after psn got restored and im still waiting for the countries to be supported…

        please let me know if you can log again on your Qatari account… cuz I still cant cuz of that stupid Sony Maintenance page which pops up everytime i click on the link to change my password… its getting on my nerves how everyone around the world got their accounts back so quickly and we still have to suffer -_-  Thank you sony we feel VERY appreciated!

        Well mate for Middle east its up again but now once you press the button to change your password it says playstation store not supported in Qatar so still wont work :(

    Hey guys, I’m from Kuwaitand our Playstation Store is already online! But the problem is there’s no PSN cards in kuwait you can purchase games only via credit card, that’s the bad thing…
    Whatever, you should upgrade the information about PS Store in Kuwait as an available store.
