Countries supported by PSN

These are the countries available (officially supported) when signing up for Playstation Network (PSN). The country you choose determines various validation rules for steps in the PSN sign-up process–for example minimum age requirement or valid residental address.

Although it is against the terms and conditions to provide incorrect information, there are guides elsewhere online for signing up with a different country (e.g. creating a US account) to allow you to use the PSN.

Update: I’ve just checked the account registration through PS Store for PC and oddly the list of countries is shorter! If a country listed above has a star/asterisk then it is available when signing up via the online store.

    Sony sux i mean come on i live in lebanon and it so much sound so impposible to buy from psn store. And beileve me they will not make any psn store in the middle east so don’t ever be so optimistic they don’t treat countries equally and that suxxx.

    @ahmed: If you are from Bahrain you can’t sign up unless you lie about your country of residence. However lying is forbidden in islam.

    I live in Germany, but I’m from the States. Question is, when I access the PSN with Germany as the country of origin, will the language displayed be German or English? If German, is there any way of having it be displayed in English?

    Or, is it better to just sign up and mark down U.S. as country of origin? And if so, will I be able to download content with me and my PS3 being in Germany and all?

    It looks like Indonesia is now PSN supported and also got the Store together with Malaysia !

    Still awaiting and demanding official PSN support for Morocco

    can somebody please help me i live in puerto rico and unfortunately we are not listed in the countries of PSN i tried using an american account, it was all very fine until it got to the part of STREET ADDRESS ive put like 50 addresses and nothing it says “You must enter a valid address” im so pissed off. what am i doing wrong or what am i mising PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!11

      1st. Puerto Rico is not a Sovereign country, so you won’t be finding it on the PSN list.

      2nd. For the American account just go google an address, copy and paste.

    yeah this SUX i live in Costa Rica, a country that is in Latin america and i cannot use the psn with my country. Sony is leaving a lot of countrys out of psn and that is a mistake because they lost that market. I mean how can they do this to us, they dont reject your money but they reject your country, why. seriously if people start hacking the ps3 at a BIG scale they cannot complaine, not that a would do it but a just whant to buy things in psn in my country with my credict card.

    I bought a US$20 play station network card from QATAR. I have used my country as UAE during registration since QATAR was not in the list. But when I entered the PSN card number, the error message appears “The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid”. I have checked the PSN number entered were correct. I have tried several times but same message appears. What could be the reason?

      you have to change your adress to america. delete old one make new one.
      however dont bother the psn store in us is bullshit no games!!!

    Benny, try creating a USA PSN account and using the card on it, I suspect you bought an American PSN card.

    i live in jamaica and i tried to get sensme on my psp and it didnt work, then i said i was in usa and it worked. i mean its not even that they cant support the region its like there putting locks on. also i got on psn by saying usa. and the adress is hard but i gaot past it, even nintendo wii i just changed the country and got the internet channel, they have to stop putting these ridiculous locks on

    PS3 consoles around the world are being affected by severe bug that prevents them from connecting to the PSN or playing games

    SONY, ALL THESE PROBLEMS HAPPEN BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T ADD OFFICIAL PSN SUPPORT FOR MOROCCO AND MANY OTHER COUNTRIES !!

    I am from Jordan and i really want to rent movies from PSN Store.
    I did create a US account and i can download games demos now, but i can’t access the movies store, does anyone have a working solution to do such a thing.

      The video store is IP locked, meaning you won’t be able to access anything other than the game store.

    I´m in Mexico and i have a US account and have a US PSN card but wen i tried to redeem the code it´s giving me the error “The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid”
    can someone please help me and inform why is this happening?

      Try again and this time make sure of the capital letters. The code is case sensitive.

      If your legit address doesn’t work, just google an address and make it up.
