Update: I’ve just checked the account registration through PS Store for PC and oddly the list of countries is shorter! If a country listed above has a star/asterisk then it is available when signing up via the online store.
Sony sux i mean come on i live in lebanon and it so much sound so impposible to buy from psn store. And beileve me they will not make any psn store in the middle east so don’t ever be so optimistic they don’t treat countries equally and that suxxx.

i just got my ps3 and i made an acount but i cant sign up i live in bahrain so if i live in bahrain i cant sign up or what ?
@ahmed: If you are from Bahrain you can’t sign up unless you lie about your country of residence. However lying is forbidden in islam.

hii i really need 2 buy a versus mode for resident evil 5 i live in kuwait but psn is not avaliable here would it work if i make an american account !
Yeah it’ll work, but only if your RE5 game is Region 1.

I live in Germany, but I’m from the States. Question is, when I access the PSN with Germany as the country of origin, will the language displayed be German or English? If German, is there any way of having it be displayed in English?
Or, is it better to just sign up and mark down U.S. as country of origin? And if so, will I be able to download content with me and my PS3 being in Germany and all?
It looks like Indonesia is now PSN supported and also got the Store together with Malaysia !

can somebody please help me i live in puerto rico and unfortunately we are not listed in the countries of PSN i tried using an american account, it was all very fine until it got to the part of STREET ADDRESS ive put like 50 addresses and nothing it says “You must enter a valid address” im so pissed off. what am i doing wrong or what am i mising PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!11
1st. Puerto Rico is not a Sovereign country, so you won’t be finding it on the PSN list.
2nd. For the American account just go google an address, copy and paste.
yeah this SUX i live in Costa Rica, a country that is in Latin america and i cannot use the psn with my country. Sony is leaving a lot of countrys out of psn and that is a mistake because they lost that market. I mean how can they do this to us, they dont reject your money but they reject your country, why. seriously if people start hacking the ps3 at a BIG scale they cannot complaine, not that a would do it but a just whant to buy things in psn in my country with my credict card.
I bought a US$20 play station network card from QATAR. I have used my country as UAE during registration since QATAR was not in the list. But when I entered the PSN card number, the error message appears “The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid”. I have checked the PSN number entered were correct. I have tried several times but same message appears. What could be the reason?
Benny, try creating a USA PSN account and using the card on it, I suspect you bought an American PSN card.
can my american ps3 work in japan and italy without using an adapter….and if i buy ps3 games dere will it work on my american ps3

i live in jamaica and i tried to get sensme on my psp and it didnt work, then i said i was in usa and it worked. i mean its not even that they cant support the region its like there putting locks on. also i got on psn by saying usa. and the adress is hard but i gaot past it, even nintendo wii i just changed the country and got the internet channel, they have to stop putting these ridiculous locks on

PS3 consoles around the world are being affected by severe bug that prevents them from connecting to the PSN or playing games
